In Tarradiddle We Trust

TOOT TOOT Watch out I'm going to gut this blog and leave almost all of it as art relevant stuff. Inspirations and political stuff will be moved to a new secondary blog. Hopefully this will happen in the next week or so.

fablepaint said: What’s the absolute smallest bundle Reed can shrink himself into, and how maximum cute can he get?

It’s not the absolutely smallest he could go ever but this is his current limit. He has a variety of bug shapes but this is the most versatile that he’s been able to create. Reedbug is about 4 inches long, the size of a large dragon fly, but more robust in build. His body is similar to that of a mantis and a shrimp and  is very flexible. ‘Swimmerets’ on the under side of his tail aid in stabilization in flight. They each end in tiny claws and can be used to hold small things up against his body.
Arguably you could say ReedBug is both the cutest and the smallest but I suppose it’d depend on who you ask and what variation of said bug he shifts into. There’s also his cat shape which tends to look like a very very large oriental shorthair. As with most shifts this can vary but this is a good generalization.

I swear I’ll post my answers for those asks today. I was drawing doodles for them and then got in a funk over unrelated stuff. If anyone has any other asks for a belated world building Wednesday just shoot em to me.

Well, while I’m very nervous about posting this, it’s something I seriously need help with. Some of you may already know I had to go to the ER a while back for heart palpitations, and a recently received the bills.

Any and all help is appreciated! If you can’t donate, please just reblog and spread the word!

Carni (Amanda) does some really solid work. She’s my friend and a fellow artist working for Flight Rising. She also dedicates a lot of time helping the Shedu group on Deviantart. Please help her out! Medical bills in the US are pretty crappy to deal with and even a little assistance could help her get to a better place.

Favorite de-stress pastime: drawing cute and or disgusting smut for my OC’s and their canon spouses/fwb’s/flings/one-night-stands.

That’s okay because it’s starting again! Hahaha!

Did a quick scribble of Arin as she ages. For those not familiar Arin is a childhood frenemy of Anvindr’s. They later become spouses. Quick blurb about Arin. Her full name is Arinbrandt Rasshakiran. Her family is a branch of one of the older but lesser known military families in Skhajoling, and it has ties to one of the original herding families that migrated in the early nomadic Khaol populations. Arin also has some Khajil heritage on her mother’s side. (Anvindr has a some on both sides of his family but mainly his father’s side.)When she was 6 her parents had to leave for active duty and dropped her and her sisters with an old friend. Unfortunately the friend got called to active duty when Arin was 14; she and her sisters were left to fend at home for themselves with the money sent to them by their parents. Arin became a sword smith’s apprentice and through that became aware of her own innate talent for magic. By time she was a young adult the conflict in the southern part of the continent escalated. To help support her sisters and her people she volunteered to be trained as a soldier and began a military career that takes up the first third of her lifetime.

Here it is!
55 short stories
Over 200 pages
All for 99 CENTS!
Available now on Kindle and Nook.

I’ve had some people ask me, but if you don’t have an e-reader device, you can (a) download a Kindle reader (for free) and read it on your computer. If you have an iPhone or iPad, you can (b) install the “kindle for iphone” or “kindle for ipad” app (also free) on your device. Just make sure when you purchase the book, you select to send it wirelessly to your device.

In addition, I’ve lowered the price slightly of North of Armageddon, my first book. It’s a short novella about the zombie apocalypse. It’s also available to read on both Kindle and Nook platforms.
